FALL BALL DETAILS REGISTRATION STARTS JULY 1st

It is hard to believe the 2017 Hanover Rampage season is coming to a close. Our Summer tournament season will be winding down in the next couple of weeks. With the end of the Summer season in sight, I want to inform everyone that Hanover Diamond Sports will be offering a 2017 Hanover Baseball Fall Ball program. I will be one of coordinators this fall season and Possibly coaching a team if there is enough interest from the players on our current team. As in 2016, we will be playing in the York County Baseball Fall Ball League. Next season we will be moving to a bigger field playing on a 50’/70’ Diamond. Playing Fall Baseball will be a great way for our boys to work their way into that jump to the next level. We are actually playing one of our scrimmages next week on the 50/70 field at Eagle Park. I’d like to use this fall season as more of a learning and training experience for the boys. Of course we will play to win and compete, but I’d like them to be able to relax and just have fun playing Sunday baseball. Practices: Twice a week, it’s not mandatory to be at both, but encouraged to try to make as many as possible. I know most of you play other sports like football that have very demanding schedules. Both of my boys will be playing football as well. We will absolutely work around that and I don’t want schedules to be a deterrent when deciding whether or not play fall ball. Last year we had many players sign up that were involved in other sports. They could commit to Sunday games but could not make all weekday practices. We encouraged these players to sign up regardless of other sports. Again I’m willing to work with your schedules. It was still a great season and gave our players an opportunity to compete against other leagues and improve their skills and confidence on the baseball field. Of course we will not have our entire team sign up, however any members of our current roster that sign up will all be placed on a team together. We will fill in spots as needed around our core group to field a team for the fall.

Games: 10 Sunday games

Locations: This is a travel league with games throughout York County, the majority of the games will be in western York County. Similar to what we are currently doing in the spring.

Season: Practices will begin in August; games start the Saturday after Labor Day and run through the end of October.

Playoffs: End of season playoffs for 10u/11u is a 3 game minimum two weekend tournament

We will only be offering on-line registration for this fall starting July 1.
